Highly Recommended I had been struggling with a severe ear infection and continuous pain for almost 2 months. I visited Dr. Purodha’s clinic today for ear wax removal after injuring my right ear trying to self clean at home yesterday. She understood my case very quickly and performed the wax removal procedure with utmost care and expertise also without using hydrogen peroxide which is commonly used for cleaning the ear in similar cases as it would have aggravated my pain and discomfort due to the injury. Pure Tone Audiometry Report - Before Treatment
The audiometry report dated 17-10-2026 shows significant right-sided hearing loss, with a reported threshold of 83.75 dB HL in the right ear compared with 20 dB HL in the left ear.
Dr. Purodha Prasad may consider intratympanic corticosteroid injections if sudden sensorineural hearing loss is confirmed and treatment is clinically appropriate.
Pure Tone Audiometry Report - After Treatment
The follow-up audiometry report dated 22 October 2026 shows improvement in the right ear with hearing threshold decreasing from 83.75 dB HL to 45 dB HL. Further ENT follow-up is still required.
