Before Photo: As you can see in below photo, the earlobe displays a clear, vertical slit or split extending from an expanded piercing hole. It causes the tissue to separate down toward the bottom edge.
After Photo: In the after photo, you can see the split edges of the earlobe have been joined back together, restoring the rounded contour of the lobe. There is still a clean, fine red line indicating the ear lobe is healing after the tissue has been closed.
Now, look at this transformation visible after 7 days of surgery. The earlobe tissue is completely closed and fully continuous along the lower rim. The initial red surgical seam has significantly faded into a faint, subtle mark along the line of repair. As you can see, there is with no visible external stitches or open skin gap remaining.
